Nineteen-year-old Bridie Monds-Watson is a musician relatively new to the scene that you should definitely keep your eye on. Last summer, Bridie released her critically-acclaimed debut album, Before We Forgot How To Dream, under the name SOAK. Before We Forgot How To Dream is a coming-of-age album that perfectly captures the realities of adolescence. Since the release of her album, SOAK has won the Northern Irish Music Prize, the European Border Breaker Award, has been nominated for a Q Award for Best New Act, and was in the running for the Mercury Prize.
SOAK will be opening for Andrea Gibson at the Fonda Theater in LA on Sunday, March 13th. Grab tickets here: http://www.axs.com/events/306339/andrea-gibson-tickets?skin=thefonda
