Shows We're Looking Forward To: Spooky Halloween Edition

October wraps up with a bang here in the LA/OC area as we crest into the hectic holiday season. Here's a look at some of the shows and events we're planning on covering here at Celluloid Annoyed over the next week.

Thursday, October 31: All Hallows' Eve brings us a very special event as Danny Elfman's Music From the Films of Tim Burton wraps up its three night stint at LA Live with what promises to be a very special performance. Expect lots of fans in full Burton-regalia and even the odd Oingo Boingo fan as the Elf-man himself is scheduled to make an appearance for his first live concert performance in the U.S. in over two decades.

Tickets: LA Live

Saturday, November 2: Saturday night the always eclectic Janelle Monae stops by Club Nokia for a night soulful R&B as only she does. Should be something special.

Tickets: Club Nokia

Thursday, November 7 & Friday, November 8: Next week, Nashville faves Those Darlins will be bringing their brand of country-infused rock and roll to LA's The Echo and the The Constellation Room in Santa Ana in support of their latest long player, Blur The Lines. It's an incredibly charming effort that I can't get enough of as of late. Definitely give them a listen.

Tickets: The Echo | The Constellation Room

Friday, November 1 - Sunday, November 3: For the nerdy among you, Stan Lee's Comikaze descends upon the City of Angels for another go 'round of comics, cosplay and commerce. We'll be there this weekend and will have full coverage later in the week.

Tickets: Stan Lee's Comikaze Expo

We've got some exciting stuff in the works so be sure to keep it locked here at Celluloid Annoyed.
