J Mascis, Lou Barlow and Murph, better known collectively as the mighty Dinosaur Jr., are back and hitting the road in support of the band's recently released album, "Give a Glimpse of What Yer Not," available now via Jagjaguwar. The three piece stopped by Solana Beach's beloved Belly Up Tavern last Tuesday night to rock the San Diego crowd with their signature brand of ear splitting rock.
Standing in front of his signature stacks of Marshall amps, Mascis proceeded to shred viciously through songs past and present as Barlow and Murph provided thrash accompaniment. Rocking as only they could, Dinosaur Jr.'s sound is still as relevant and vital as it ever was.
