Seattle's purveyors of pop and dance rock Beat Connection stopped by The Observatory in Santa Ana for the final night of their tour with British rockers Django Django. The band recently signed to ANTI- Records and are slated to release the follow up to 2012's debut "Palace Garden" this fall.
Cool beats and hot synths may not be the first things that spring to mind when characterizing the Pacific Northwest's sound but the boys of Beat Connection are anything but the typical Emerald City band. Packed with infectious grooves and some funky licks, the band's all too brief set held the OC audience captivated in dance, turning heads and making some newfound fans along the way.
