The girls of Potty Mouth tore up LA's Echo Wednesday night with a last minute set, opening up for local it-band Castro. It'd been awhile since the Massachusetts pop-punks stopped by the Southland and the crowd gathered was definitely primed to hear what the band had been up to since their last visit.
Potty Mouth caught my attention a couple years ago when their debut LP, Hell Bent, dropped. At the time I felt It was a special album, the kind that seemed like it'd been sitting on your shelf the whole time, just waiting to be rediscovered. I've been meaning to give them a listen live for quite some time but keep missing them for one reason or another so I knew i had to jump on the chance to check them out when this date was announced and I'm glad to say the band didn't disappoint.
Photos from Wednesday are below. Potty Mouth doesn't have any shows scheduled at the the moment but promises some big things to come this year. Be sure to like Potty Mouth on Facebook and follow @pottymouthmass to stay current on all the latest happenings; they're definitely one to keep an eye on.
